CFD Smoke Analysis for Road, Metro, and Service Tunnels shall be carried out as per UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, Saudi Arabia Building Code, NFPA 92, NFPA 502, NFPA 103, NFPA 130, Eurocode EN50126, PIARC.
Location: Kolkata, India
Scope:
The scope of work is to design the smoke ventilation system for the Underground Metro stations and to evaluate the performance of the design using CFD Modelling. Various Fire scenarios were conducted.
A Comparative analysis was done of various design standard like Eurocode EN50126, NFPA 130, SIA etc. was done to arrive at the most suitable standard applicable for Kolkata conditions. Also local building code NBC was studied. NFPA 130 standard was largely used as a design guideline for the fire safety design of subway stations.
The various design options were arrived at with varying capacity and location of smoke exhaust grills as per the guidelines provided in the above stated standards. The CFD simulation was conducted for each configuration. The results of simulation were interpreted and checked whether the required safety standards are met or not.
Parameters Studied:
Smoke concentrations
Temperature Profile
Visibility Profile
Velocity Profile
Smoke Simulation Movie
Toxicity i.e Carbon Monoxide Concentration
Radiant Heat Flux on the walls
The CO contaminant / pollutant CFD analysis shall be carried out for parking car parks as recommended in ASHRAE Handbook Chapter 16, 2019, California standards 2019 CMC 403.7.2(2), Australian-New Zealand Standards 1668.2-2002.
Location: Teheran, Iran
Scope:
CFD Analysis for Car Park to optimize the location of Jet fans to meet the desired the Carbon Monoxide ( CO Levels) and Velocity profile inside the car park levels.
Parameters Studied:
Carbon Monoxide levels
Velocity profile
Finalized Jet fan locations
CFD Smoke Analysis for the car parks shall be carried out as per UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, Saudi Arabia Building Code, BS- 7346-7, SFPE, NFPA, Singapore Civil Defense.
Location: Bulgaria
Scope:
CFD Simulations to Optimize the location of Jet Fans in the car park basements.
To Study the Carbon Monoxide (CO) Levels and Velocity Profile in the Normal Ventilation System.
Conduct Smoke simulation with 4MW of car fire to meet tenable conditions as per NFPA Standards.
